Live Steamers!

The Puget Sound Garden Railway Society Live Steamers SIG invites PSGRS members and fellow live steamers to come and boil water. Contact John Bigelow (206.284.5038) or Peter Comley (253.862.6748) for further information on schedules. Sparkies are welcome to run any time the tracks are clear of steamers.

The Georgetown Powerplant Museum hosts the PSGRS Live Steamers and the Emerald City Model Engineers on the second Saturday of each month from 10am to 5pm.

DIRECTIONS to the

GEORGETOWN POWERPLANT MUSEUM

6605 13th Ave So, Seattle

From I-5 southbound:

Take the Swift-Albro exit.

Take a right (west) at the exit light (Albro).

 

From I-5 northbound:

Take the Swift-Albro exit.

Take a left (north) at the exit light (Swift).

Take a left (west) at the 2nd light (Albro).

 

 

Follow the arterial (Albro). It will head west for a couple of blocks then veer south,

following the contour of the airport, becoming Ellis Avenue.

Stay on Ellis one long block to Warsaw.

Take a left (east) on Warsaw.

Drive east through King County Maintenance parking lot to electric gate V66.

At gate V66, take a right (south).

Go forward into steam plant property and park.

The entrance into the plant property will be open for public events or as prearranged.

At other times it is locked.
